Elizabeth no.1 by mbreitweiser Elizabeth no.1 by mbreitweiser
I'm just a simple comic book artist and not a photographer, but I somehow managed to capture some good shots of Elizabeth the other night. She looked absolutely wow in that new dress and seamed stockings, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take some photos.

What... filter or light settings or whatever did you use to get that captivating "70's" quality in the colors? 'Cause it looks unfreakinbelievable.

The main thing I did was take up the blues on the lo end of the curves. Also I added some radial grads with various effects. Lighten, Scree, Pin Light, etc...

Thanks!

I think you might have a future as a photographer if you ever give up comics. (And Elizabeth might have a future in modelling, she definitely looks a lot better than most models I see here.) I think you know what makes for a good photo, whether you know that consciously or not. I hope to see more photos from you. Nice work! And I really mean that =)

That seems to be a big motivator for a lot of models :p If I ever become bigtime and can afford to give out free clothes I'll let you know =) Or maybe someone here on dA will notice your pics :D It seems like you two work really well whether its comics or photos, keep up the good work! :w00t:

All these photo's ive seen so far between the both of you have had a really chillin and relaxed atmosphere to them. Your place looks very comfortable.
I envision some light jazz playing in the BG.

Really nice photo indeed! The dress is really pretty, and she looks really good in it too! Do you take pictures of her to use as reference in the future? lol

Thanks! Sometimes I'll dig up old photos for reference, but It takes so long to get a photo shoot set up that I usually just pose some 3D models for reference.

Yeah they look nice. But they are not really cheap here. I'll go check if I can get something similar. Maybe something that could help too was to make a model in a 3d software (or find one model online). Thanks anyway :)

The two I've seen so far, this one and the missus' ID, are very good. They are somewhat 'raw' and unpolished, but that's what I like best about them. :)
